June was a nearly record-breaking month for my blog income. It was also a turning point in my blogging career in which I sealed the deal on my very first sponsored post collaboration! The collaboration is with a nationally recognized e-commerce retailer and I will be promoting their home decor products division. The contract will last several months so I’m pretty excited by this project!
My affiliate income held steady and even grew considerably during June – not a huge surprise considering people tend to buy more from my sites in the summer months and through fall! I just hope that the upward trend will continue through fall.

This is going to be one of my shorter income reports as I don’t have a lot of insight to share with you guys this time around. I also have a lot of personal projects going on (plus the new the sponsored post work) so I just don’t have time this month to really dig into what’s going well and what’s not.

I am hesitant to report the RewardStyle income as there was a single $1,300 commission from One Kings Lane. Here’s hoping that one sticks!
Expenses
My blogging expenses to date are:
- Domain Name: I purchased my domains from Namecheap (they have coupons)
- Hosting: I started off with Bluehost, and eventually moved to InMotion once my traffic grew enough to warrant the additional expense
- Tailwind: Tailwind is my Pinterest scheduling tool that I use with my image-heavy blogs. Tailwind has helped me successfully grow my Pinterest traffic by 4X.
- LLC: I formed my LLC without a lawyer to protect my business and personal assets
Traffic
Traffic was slightly down to 29,639 for the month of June! Definitely one of the stronger months out of the last 7, so I’m happy about that.
Plans for Next Month
July is nearly over, but so far my hard work seems to be paying off during the profitable summer months! Check back soon for a new income report which I’ll try my hardest to publish towards the beginning of the month along with some insights!
